Ms. Bains is a pedagogy and assessments expert. She taught at the prestigious Shri Ram Schools, New Delhi, where she taught almost every grade from I-X, teaching English, Science, Physics and Drama! These years of teaching provided her deep insights into students' intellectual, social and emotional growth and development across the school years.
During her teaching years and as a mother to a young girl, Ms. Bains rarely shied away from having difficult conversations with children. Many of her peers - teachers and parents, found it impossible to talk about topics related to child safety issues (other than traffic and lab safety). This project is close to her values of supporting young people to live independent and fulfilling lives. Ms. Bains brings to the team her understanding of learning materials and methods that lead to respectful and open conversations and support students' growth as responsible, self-reliant, confident and caring young adults.
